"Short Sighted"

Commonly known as short-sightedness, myopia is a common eye condition where patients experience difficulty seeing distant objects clearly. It usually but not always develops in school aged children and can continue to progress until the eye stops growing. Myopia is easily corrected with glasses or contact lenses, and special corrective lenses are available for children to help slow down the eyes from changing rapidly.
What We Can Do For You
Myopia is extremely common and can usually be corrected with prescription spectacles or contact lenses.

"Long Sighted"

Your distance vision is good, but you have trouble with closer objects, which appear blurred. Other symptoms include eye fatigue, headaches and aching eyes, especially after reading or working on a computer. Finding it difficult to see characters when texting may also be a sign of hyperopia.
What We Can Do For You
Hyperopia can be corrected with simple reading spectacles or multifocal lens options for those who don’t like to take their spectacles on and off all the time. There are also some contact lens options available which work for hyperopia.

"Irregular Shaped Eyeball"

Astigmatism is a common eye condition that affects both distance and near vision. It can occur in both near and short-sighted patients. Astigmatism is by large caused by an oval shaped eye (more like a rugby ball than a basketball), meaning light rays entering the eye will focus on different planes, causing you to see blurry images. This condition is easily corrected with glasses or contact lenses.
What We Can Do For You
Astigmatism can be corrected in most cases with prescription spectacles or contact lenses.

"Long Sighted Due to Age"

Finding your arms aren’t quite long enough anymore? Don’t worry, you are not alone. Presbyopia is a common eye condition where, with increasing age, the natural lens inside the eye gradually loses its ability to focus on things up close. These changes usually occur around 40 years of age but can manifest earlier or later, depending on your visual requirements and lifestyle. This is easily corrected with reading glasses or contact lenses.
What We Can Do For You
We can provide prescription reading lenses or multifocal lens designs for those who don’t want to take their spectacles on and off all the time. There are also some forms of contacts lenses that can be suitable in correcting presbyopia.
