Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) Wayfarer is the classic Ray-Ban shape, bold and instantly recognisable. It’s available with Transitions® lenses and suits people who want a statement frame.
Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) Blayzer Optics is a slimmer, rectangular frame designed for all-day prescription wear. It has flexible nose pads, adjustable temple tips and extra hinge movement for comfort.
Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) Scriber Optics has the same comfort features as the Blayzer, in a softer, rounder shape that suits different face shapes.
Buying smart glasses as a Christmas gift
Prescription smart glasses make a great gift, but lenses have to be made to the wearer’s own prescription. A few tips:
- Plan ahead: prescription lenses take time to make, so order well before Christmas. December is our busiest time, so we recommend ordering at least 4 weeks before Christmas (by about 27 November).
- Gift the frame, fit later: buy the frame now, and the wearer comes in after Christmas to have their lenses made and fitted.
- Check their prescription: it needs to be current and within the supported range, so a recent eye test helps.
